People Partner - Casework and Recruitment

Contract: Full Time, Permanent (36 hours per week) 

Pay Scale: NJC SCP 36 - 41 (£47,181 - £52,413) per annum

This is a key opportunity to join the central People Team at a pivotal time in our growth. The People Partner – Casework and Recruitment will play a critical role in supporting schools across the Trust, ensuring leaders receive high-quality HR advice, guidance and support.


You will work closely with the Head of People, Headteachers and senior leaders to provide support across employee relations, recruitment, workforce planning and organisational development. You will also support the development of robust people policies, systems and processes across a growing and evolving organisation.


This is a highly influential role requiring strong HR expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple stakeholders. You will contribute directly to developing a positive workforce culture and supporting the success of our schools. 


The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) and demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development
  • Have significant experience of managing complex employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management processes
  • Be confident advising senior leaders and managers on HR matters and building strong professional relationships
  • Have a strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practice and safeguarding responsibilities in employment practice
  • Possess excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Be committed to safeguarding, equality, inclusion and the values of Pope Francis Catholic Multi Academy Trust
